The startup, created in 2013, opens its new headquarters in São Paulo, launches new campaign and invests in strategic B2B alliances
After reaching the mark of two million users per month and consolidating itself as the largest flight metasearch engine in Brazil, Voopter announces another investment from a global firm. The US$ 600,000 "B-series" comes from Travel Capitalist Ventures Ltd. from Qatar, an influential investment firm specializing in the digital distribution of the travel industry globally, and will allow the expansion of Voopter’s operations and the approximation of the company with the tourism trade for future partnerships.

TCV's investment adds to the round of 350,000€ from Global Founders Capital, a German venture capital company that trains talented entrepreneurs around the world which, for just over a year, invested for the second time in the Brazilian flight search startup.
These news are the result of Voopter's ability to offer services tailored to the Brazilian consumer, who appears to prefer to be impacted with promotional information in a personalized way to carry out trip planning in advance. The development of tools adapted to this traveler profile, such as the multi-dates calendar, the collaborative alert system and curated content, make Voopter the only metasearch to be fine tuned with the local users’ demands. "Voopter was made by Brazilians for Brazilians and this was the decisive factor for achieving the leadership of this segment in our country", says Pettersom Paiva, CEO of Voopter. Furthermore, the startup announces its new advertising campaign, focused on the "Brazilian way" to make the dream of traveling come true, scheduled to be launched nationwide in May.
The investment will also back the development of the "media" and "data" departments and the move of the headquarters to São Paulo, which inauguration is set to April.
