Founded in 2014 by Stefan Rehm and Gabriel Drummond, Intelipost develops software and services logistics management helping physical strores, virtual and distributors to improve the processes generating cost saving and improved delivery of products. The company recently announced a new investment round of R$7 million led by Performa Investimentos, the company has also been invested by Project-A, Natue, Evino and ESV Digital. This new round will help Intelipost to accelerate the development of new products and services, in addition to investing in new lines of business. In 2015 Intelipost received the LFN Award for Most Innovative Company we caught up with founders Stefan Rehm and Gabriel Drummond for an exclusive update:
How did it feel to recognized as the Most Innovative Company in the region?
It was of course an honour to be recognized as such by the community. Seeing the results of hard work is always appreciated. Overall, we feel that the ecosystem in general is evolving greatly and we are super excited to see which innovations come out of this region in the coming years. For stimulating the startup scene, LATAM Founders also deserves an award by the way :)
After winning the prestigious award for Most Innovative Company in Latin America how has your business evolved?
We have grown in all the aspects. We moved to ou new offices with our current 40 employees. With C&A, Lojas Renner, Megamamute, Shoulder, we managed to gain real household names of the Brazilian e-commerce scene. Our solution is ever improving in scalability and functionality.
What are your top 3 2015 highlights?
Signing the 2 largest e-commerce platforms in LATAM as clients: B2W and CNOVA
Delivering 15 Million freight quotations during BlackFriday without downtime
Launching an innovative new product: Transport Company Invoice reconciliation
Shortly after winning this award you signed a contract with B2W, how has this impacted your business?
This has dramatically changed our position in the market. We managed to win the contract due to the technological superiority of our solution. This gave us a great boost in both self-confidence and brand recognition. As we are their official freight solution, we have now more than 400 online stores integrated and growing by 50-60 stores per month.

What are some of the challenges you faced and how did you overcome them?
Fundraising is always difficult in a struggeling economy. For us, however, 2015 was a successful year, which managed to attract some attention from investor side. There will be good news released soon. :)
Give us a taste for what is in store for 2016
Continue growth in everything: Increase the team to 50-70, deliver a reverse logistics product, move into the huge offline market and win more of the top 50 e-commerce.
